To uphold belief in life after-death--which is apart from the body--in consistent faith also upholds belief in life before brain waves.
Question:
In Christian doctrine if there are two parts of man, and there is not spirit, and the body will be resurrected at Jesus' return, at what point in early formation does consciousness begin?

Defining Prophecy in the New Testament:
Making evil up about someone is not prophecy. It is not evil imaginations (Zechariah 7:10). Prophecy is accurately hearing secrets, hidden things, God is revealing as defined by the Apostle Paul (I Corinthians 14:24-25).

Prophecy may be, like Caiaphas in John chapter 11, not even recognized by the speaker, or as described by the prophet Joel or by Peter's citation bringing Joel's words into the New Testament (Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17). The practice of God might have been seen in the Old Testament as God spoke through an animal (II Peter 2:16).
How else might God speak by all flesh in such a wicked and perverse generation?
The accurate prophecy might not be recognized as prophecy, as it is not identified as prophech, as had been the case of Caiaphas (John 11:49-52).
The occurrence in frequency is a sign to be occurring in the last days. Any who had their "mail read" or a private word of exhortaiton confirmed by a passer by knows what I mean. The individual did not literally read our private correspondence with God nor hear us. God did however. He motivates the person. God is able to motivate.

Predator?
I awoke with hair cut off behind an ear, which is characteristic of obsessed predators.
I awoke groggy after being awakened to something wet being placed on my mouth.
I had been in prayer at 2 - 3 am, praying and appreciating the stars before I went inside as I love to do, and repeatedly there had been a vehicle that pulled up behind my vehicle. I kept still.
I woke up to things moved in my room, a thing moved from my bed. I had been studying my theology books with my Bible, which were all over my bed, there had been no room left on my bed.
The Holy Ghost gave strong impressions of warning as I was reading my Bible in my vehicle in a park. I turned at the direction God was giving warning of and I looked directly at the individual with binoculars looking at me from 50 yards away in the weeds.
There had been impressions after waking that someone had been putting something in my mouth. I ended up having to have a root canal.
There had been impressions after I had been awakened that there had been someone that tried to put a wet object in my mouth.

Injury:
As noted in one post, bullying that a childhood molester cousin did, bullying as had occurred since an early age, where my head was jerked back (hands over my eyes from the rear), done in 2005, jerking bones apart, caused injury. I had seen improvement prior after praying for healing. A half-inch to a quarter inch has been jerked between my upper and lower rows of teeth in the back. I need surgery. The portrait above is my 1995 Bible College graduation photo.
History:
I have naturally blond wavy fine hair. Attacks against my hair that occurred have involved a person that presented themselves as a stylist that jerked at my hair as I cried out. Who I caught mocking behind me as I watched in a mirror. They were holding my hairs mocking to another person. Something wrong there I said to myself. Years earlier there had been a person four years younger that attacked, jerked my hair, and I had no idea why, other than a remark of some kind regarding sexual behavior I knew nothing about. Something wrong there I said again to myself. Injury to my jaw as I relate here is by abuse, jerks to my head, imposed by a molester cousin or related to the incidents, jerking my head with iron force from behind me.
Due to depraved attempts I have been repulsed.

1980 - There were a few incidents that occurred this year, there had been someone that came from the rear and grabbed me and gyrated, and so on, and 2 or 3 dating incidents - I was repelled by affronts against my standards and things that occurred.
1979 - There had been a fellow I dated this year that had serious interest that did not work out. And this is the year a case occurred where I was seeking a life-long monogamous relationship and there had been someone that appeared interested in that they made advances, but had made a statement that they wanted to set me up as "pretty baby" because I was innocent, when I grasped what they were after I did not have more to do with them. I NEVER had anything to do with prostitution.
1978 - I graduated art school with honors (approximately 3.8 GPA). I lived in a quiet ladies dorm during art school. There had been a case that occurred this year where I had been interested in a genuine relationship and the person turned out to be interested in pornography, had even wanted to take me to a movie and it turned out to be a porn scene. I did not have more to do with them when I grasped what they were like.
1977 - Seeking a life-long relationship I dated innocently in a few instances of no immorality, and there had been a few cases that occurred where there were those trying to do things to me that I turned down around this time.

1980 - There were a few incidents that occurred this year, there had been someone that came from the rear and grabbed me and gyrated, and so on, and 2 or 3 dating incidents - I was repelled by affronts against my standards and things that occurred.
1979 - There had been a fellow I dated this year that had serious interest that did not work out. And this is the year a case occurred where I was seeking a life-long monogamous relationship and there had been someone that appeared interested in that they made advances, but had made a statement that they wanted to set me up as "pretty baby" because I was innocent, when I grasped what they were after I did not have more to do with them. I NEVER had anything to do with prostitution.
1978 - I graduated art school with honors (approximately 3.8 GPA). I lived in a quiet ladies dorm during art school. There had been a case that occurred this year where I had been interested in a genuine relationship and the person turned out to be interested in pornography, had even wanted to take me to a movie and it turned out to be a porn scene. I did not have more to do with them when I grasped what they were like.

Intruder-based Sexuality:
Intruder-based sexuality, where arousal is based on intrusion, is against all standards God presents in His word. Arousal is to be based on the attraction between a couple, male and female, to be husband and wife, where their intense attraction is a complete attraction between them, the basis of arousal. Complete attraction is love for the spirit, the soul, and the body of the person.
Intruder-based sexuality, where arousal is based on hate and animosity or jealousy targeted outside the relationship, is not Biblical, and actually presents hatred.
Animosity, and jealousy, that attacks and maligns those outside a relationship in order to gain arousal, or any self-satisfaction, is akin to murder, strife, and other sin. The end-result of intruder-based sexuality is evident when observing incidents of crime, attack, attack against women (against the sex organs of women, or other organs) or against children.
The declaration that they "love" the woman attacked is of course ridiculous. For obviously that is not any "care" at all. Rather, it is the mangling of their organs in attack. The labeling of the targeted person--which considers that like being defecated on to be attacked at all, and when brain damage amnesia from being totally attacked by low standards against their morality is horrific, and when organ damage that is done is that agonizing because the wicked fantasizing individual made up the idea that the targeted person had a great deal of sexual involvement that never occurred, there certainly is not appreciation at all)--so it is ridiculous where they label the person attacked as having the low standards because the fantasizing person attacked them.
That is the attempt to avoid capture, typical of the attacker.
It is warped, "deviant," ideas of sexuality. And it relates to demon possession, little different than channeling as others have been condemned for in other contexts.
The idea that there is not to be great attraction between single people that are considering marriage is a form of heresy as it leads to intruder-based sexuality, where there are couples that are unfulfilled as a result of lack of physical attraction to their mate, in that they were taught that attraction is sin. It is not--for Biblical attraction, between two single monogamous Christian people, male and female, living in self-control, considering marriage, is God's best.
To force the idea that the attraction is sin, and to demand that the single individuals marry an unattractive mate, and then later rely on fantasizing toward the one they wished they were with, as alternate means to gain arousal because they are unfulfilled at home and seeking arousal by intrusion, is advocating complete heresy.
In addition, the person that is advocating their involvement in the couple's relationship, because they are trim and fit, and because they wish they could see what occurs in their bedroom, because their own relationship is "shallow" sexually, is involved in pornographic ideas every bit as much as the devout adherent to Hustler.

Exousia of Women:
A passage that is referred to in regards to marriage covenant relations is interpreted only in part at times when in full context the passage emphasizes that also the husband does not have power over his own body.
I Corinthians 7:4 explains that, "The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife."
I cite it because it is cited so often in endorsing a wrong idea of submission that is in heresy. Sodomy is abomination, not required at all by God, is damaging to internal organs, “against nature” (Romans 1:26), etc., off the topic technically in some theological discussions, but this passage is used to demand that abomination. Then the balance of the verse is not interpreted, for had the whole verse been considered the women are in order to use a device to sodomize men.
The abomination is not demanded on women by God at all, as that is already condemned in scripture (Romans 1:26). And Webster's Dictionary defines sodomy clearly, "anal or oral copulation with a member of the same or opposite sex; also: copulation with an animal."
The passage in I Corinthians 7:4 cites that "power" over the spouse applies both over the man as well as over the woman, "power" being the word exousiazo: “to have power or authority, use power” in each case.[1] So that the woman has authority over the man in that context of the marriage covenant sexual relationship. The man is required to “please” the wife. The man is not to "please" the outsiders. The wife is to determine how she is to be “pleased,” as long as in scriptural boundaries, and she has “power” or authority, noted in Strong’s Concordance, lexicon, “please” being aresko: to please, to strive to please, “to accommodate one’s self to the opinions, desires and interests of others.”[2]
That definition I hear addressing women at times, by those stating that the wife is required to align, and really there is a mutual principle of submission noted in Ephesians 5:21, pertaining to submission to the overarching principles of God.
This relates because submission is part of the argument against women involved in ministry in any way.
It might be good to note the Proverbs 31 model. The man was the leader, sat in the gates (Proverbs 31:23). He was overseer of the woman. That is not dormant submission on her part, not a doormat submission. Submission is active. God in requiring submission of all of us is asking for our action, not our dormancy. That relates to faith as there are those that perceive that submission means laying down and letting God do everything. That is in error I believe.
So a woman in submission, will be in action. God is asking for our action from all of us. Similarly, God requires the leader to require action. How horrid I have thought that would be for a husband to stand before God having "managed all well," and for God to begin with the wife and for the man to say he demanded that she lay down all her gifts and never use them again--like burning her bank account worth millions.
The Proverbs 31 woman did all the household care or oversaw those things, but she had a business venture I read in scripture (Proverbs 31:16, 18, 24, 26, 27), and the man was over her as her leader. She was not a couch potatoe.
God gave woman at the start in scripture as a gift. I think it is law of first mention. The giving of the woman was a first act (Genesis 2:22).
I hear in it “team ministry." I do not think it is battling. It think it is balancing. I think it means the man as the man, the woman as the woman, there would be exousia--might, peace, serenity, tranquility at home operating as “one” (Genesis 2:24).
I hear the idea stated at times that women are the ones required to do anything that the male wants done sexually, like it or not, the context for many of the cases where submission is being argued. But the Bible does not say that there. I hear the idea that women are required to do whatever the man wants done in any context. That does not say that there. The man cannot for example order the wife to rob a bank. The wife is to submit to God first as cited in Ephesians 5:21, “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God” (italics mine), then the passages regarding the wife submitting to the husband follow.
That is so for prophetic ministry, the wife who is a prophetess is in order. There were prophetesses in the New Testament, who no doubt spoke prophecies, as cited of Philips four daughters (Acts 21:9). Also Anna, in the temple (Luke 2:36), endorsed by scripture in Israel. So the idea that “silence” is utter silence cannot be right.
The wife is to be in submission to her husband as the husband is submitted to God (I Timothy 2:12), according to Spiros Zodhiates, in The Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible.[3]
It should be mentioned there are those that demand that women are to keep total silence in the church, but they are not equally interpreting other passages strictly, for women wear jewelry, and if passages are to be taken strictly there should be no jewelry (I Timothy 2:9).
The pair in the Biblical picture of Eden and its restored resemblance to be seen in the New Testament should be one of the most powerful witnesses the Earth has seen. It is a picture of Christ and the church (Ephesians 5:31-32).
Enduring love that is the picture of the idyllic intended creation in Eden is sung about often, yet rarely achieved.

The wife is to submit to God first as cited in Ephesians 5:21, “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God” (italics mine), then the passages regarding the wife submitting to the husband follow.
That is so for prophetic ministry, the wife who is a prophetess is in order. There were prophetesses in the New Testament, who no doubt spoke prophecies, as cited of Philips four daughters (Acts 21:9). Also Anna, in the temple (Luke 2:36), endorsed by scripture in Israel. So the idea that “silence” is utter silence cannot be right.
The wife is to be in submission to her husband as the husband is submitted to God (I Timothy 2:12), according to Spiros Zodhiates, in The Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible.[3]
It should be mentioned there are those that demand that women are to keep total silence in the church, but they are not equally interpreting other passages strictly, for women wear jewelry, and if passages are to be taken strictly there should be no jewelry (I Timothy 2:9).
The pair in the Biblical picture of Eden and its restored resemblance to be seen in the New Testament should be one of the most powerful witnesses the Earth has seen. It is a picture of Christ and the church (Ephesians 5:31-32).
Enduring love that is the picture of the idyllic intended creation in Eden is sung about often, yet rarely achieved.
